The second edition the Tourism and Technology Forum (TTF2) organized by Tourism Promotion Board (TPB) starts today.

Last March, TPB took the initiative to organize two-day hybrid format event for the tourism stakeholders and learn on the recent technology and platforms innovations for the industry.

Thanks to the success of the first forum, the second Tourism and Technology Forum is having a two-day virtual event on 7-8 October 2021, the forum will provide learning opportunities, networking and a deeper understanding of digital technology and its practical application to travel and tourism businesses, inciting operations of both government and private sectors, to produce optimal results.

The theme for this second edition “Securing Tomorrow Today with Digitech”, the program will cover e-commerce for travel and tourism, digital content marketing, optimizing social media platforms, build your business through social media and more.

Initially, the event was planned to have a hybrid form for online audience and in-person participants at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), due to the Inter‑Agency Task Force (IATF) decision to extend the Alert Level 4 in The National Capital Region (NCR) until 15 October, the TTF2 is happening virtually.

Technology innovations has help reboot the tourism sector, stakeholders have embraced the digital transformations in order to stay competitive and offer better services and products.
