Global Exhibitions Day (GED) celebrates the 7th edition today.  GED recognizes the value and impact of physical exhibitions and business events not only in the local communities but worldwide.

The event sector was hit hard by COVID-19 and after two years of global pandemic, the repercussions were enormous to the industry. On the contrary, the exhibitions and events industry showed resilience and adaptability to the challenges.

Many regions and countries have gradually opened, and the events sector is back on track, accelerating the pace of economic recovery, rebuilding business, reconnecting people and developing meaningful relationships.

There is no question about the demand of physical events, the industry is coming stronger than ever continuing with the safety protocols. In person business events are irreplaceable and there is not a better day than today to expose the value of our industry, business and professionals are encouraged to be part of this celebration and continue supporting this campaign.

GED is an initiative driven by The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).
